RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, 2026: OBELAS® brought its American curriculum and integrated education ecosystem to GESS Saudi Arabia 2026, where it served as the Gold Sponsor. Held from September 29 to October 1 at The Arena in Riyadh, the event brought together educators, institutions, and government representatives to explore developments in education and technology.
At Stand A40, OBELAS® presented its NCC approved programs in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and ICT, alongside three digital platforms: OBELEARN for digital learning, OBEASSESS for assessment, and CogniAdapt for personalized learning. Together, the solutions demonstrated how curriculum, technology, and assessment can work as a connected system.

The ecosystem was also the focus of the OBELAS® opening session on September 29. Academic Consultant Paulina Perez presented "Beyond the Textbook: The OBELAS Integrated Education Ecosystem" on the Product Showcase Stage. She described how OBELAS® brings together educational content, digital learning, teacher support, assessment, and personalized learning pathways to support schools beyond the printed textbook.

Later that day, Technology Director Souhaib Azanki joined a panel on the EdTech in Action Stage titled "Support to Stretch: Technology, Tools, and Scaffolding for Every Learner." The discussion explored how purposeful technology and effective scaffolding can support students who need additional help while extending learning for those ready to progress further.

On October 1, Director of Research and Development Shady Elkassas spoke on the Leaders in Education Stage. His session, "From AI Adoption to Institutional AI Readiness: Building a Responsible AI Ecosystem for Education, Training & RDI," examined what it takes to move beyond adopting individual AI tools. He highlighted leadership, governance, infrastructure, data readiness, professional development, and responsible implementation as foundations for institutional AI readiness.

Mr. Elkassas also delivered a dedicated session for representatives of the Saudi Ministry of Defense. The session focused on moving from AI experimentation to implementation through clear governance, responsible policies, capable teams, and sustainable infrastructure for education, training, research, development, and innovation. The discussion aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 priorities, including digital transformation, human capability development, innovation, and knowledge based growth.

At Stand A40, visitors took part in live demonstrations of OBELEARN, OBEASSESS, and CogniAdapt. OBELAS Games added an interactive element, with adaptive questions, educational trivia, puzzles, timed challenges, and an educator persona activity.
